Please share this poster and clear your diary for the 10th anniversary of the Greyhound Gathering and Dogs picnic! We will be holding an information stall and have delicious vegan cupcakes for donations at the event.
This event is held every year as part of the International Greyhound Remembrance weekend in memory of all the greyhounds who have suffered & died because of the racing industry.
All types of dogs are welcome – you don’t have to bring a greyhound!! Please make sure your dog is happy to be around other dog’s and people though please.
There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out & trees for people to picnic & rest under.
If the weather is hot, there will be paddling pools & sponges for the dogs to cool off!
There will be stalls, info and loads of great prizes to be won in the raffle!
Eastville Park is just across the road from where the Bristol greyhound track used to be (now IKEA), so is a very fitting place for this annual remembrance event.
